Ingredients for OxyHives
The science of homeopathy is over 200 hundred years old, and is based on the premise that certain natural substances can stimulate the body's own healing systems - allowing the body to heal itself.
Homeopathy is a very unique system of medicine because the ingredients are used at levels that are generally understood to be non-toxic, with no negative side effects. The use of homeopathic ingredients for particular conditions is based on "homeopathic provings" that are recorded in the Homeopathic Materia Medica.
Every ingredient was chosen for this unique formula to both alleviate discomfort and help relieve multiple symptoms associated with hives (urticaria) outbreaks. Our sublingual delivery system is the preferred method of delivering homeopathic medicines.

Rhus Toxicondendron (Poison Oak) 200C: Also known as mercury vine or poison vine, poison oak and its kissing cousin, poison ivy, can be found all over North America in woodland areas. A main constituent of the plant is toxicodendric acid. The oil is poisonous when it comes in contact with the skin, causing an itchy red rash that forms blisters.
The medicinal use of poison ivy was discovered by accident. A French physician in the late eighteenth century discovered that a patient's chronic rash had been cured as a result of accidental exposure to the plant. The doctor then went on to use the leaves and stalk of the plant in the treatment of skin disease, paralysis and rheumatic complaints.
Today Rhus Tox is prized by homeopathic practitioners for its anti-inflammatory properties, and is used to reduce itching of the very conditions it causes in the wild—poison ivy and poison oak blisters. It is also effective against hives, shingles rashes and all types of itchy eruptions.
Urtica Urens (200C): Also known as Small Stinging-Nettle, Urtica has been used in homeopathy to treat intense burning sensation in the skin. Also helps itching of genitals, fingers and hands, and fever blisters on lips.
